CUE Maker is a small free tool to help you recover or create a CUE file from almost any BIN file. Available in both Hebrew and English, its simple interface allows you to open any BIN file and generate its corresponding CUE file in one single step. You just need to specify what type of content you need to recover from the BIN file - a software application, a movie (VCD or SVCD), or a PlayStation game.
CUE files are tiny text files needed to make perfect copies of discs from an ISO or BIN image. They represent the “table of contents” of the image itself, and stores basic data of all the different files included in it, as well as their specific position within the disc(s). When that small “index” file is missing, the recording software tool may not be able to create a working copy of the original disc (some recording tools will not be able to read and burn the image at all!). CUE Maker has been designed to work smoothly with any BIN file which includes just one track, as it is usually the case with most image files which include software tools, games, and movies. The developer openly admits that this program will not create valid CUE files for multi-track BIN images, such as CDs containing various music tracks. |
